types of coffee beans

Arabica Coffee Beans
Arabica is the first coffee to be cultivated and accounts for more than 60% of the world's coffee production, making it the most popular coffee. The flavor it has is combined with ideal tenderness, sweetness, and acidity.

Robusta Coffee Beans
The word 'robust' in Robusta means strong. Naturally, Robusta was more able to withstand pests and had a sharper, bitter, and lower acidity than Arabica. All of that comes with an abundance of caffeine and antioxidants.

Green Coffee Beans
This coffee is a newly harvested bean and has not gone through a roasting process. The given name appears from the color of the coffee beans that appear during drying. At this time, coffee beans have a different taste and aroma than normal coffee, so they still need to be roasted first.

Decaffito Coffee Beans
Decaffito coffee is obtained from decaf cherries from Decaffito plants. This means that coffee beans do not contain caffeine at all and farmers do not need to eliminate them anymore from coffee beans.

White Coffee Beans
White coffee is a light roast coffee bean, resulting in a paler color and a smoother aroma.

Espresso Coffee Beans
Any type of coffee can be used to make a sip of espresso. However, using coffee beans through a medium to dark roasting process is recommended because it can reduce the acidity in the process of making espresso

Note :
Before becoming a beverage, coffee is carefully planted and roasted. There are various types of coffee with a variety of ways to roast them, each of which produces a unique taste that is different from one another.

Actually, the coffee beans that we know so far are the seeds of cherries that come from the coffee tree. This fruit grows on branches and twigs and takes about 9 months to mature bright red coffee cherries. After that, the coffee is ready to be picked by coffee farmers who will then remove the coffee beans by the method of soaking in water for several days or by drying in the sun for several weeks.
